Desktop Notifications for Gmail!

If you haven't done this yet...what are you waiting for?! Gmail now has desktop notifications (caveat: only if you use Chrome--which you should anyway). This will alert you whenever you get a new chat or e-mail. So head over to Settings and turn on this new feature!

Getting Egyptians to be Heard

As demonstrations in Egypt continue, Google is working on getting Egyptians to be heard through the development of a "speak-to-tweet" service. The main idea is that anyone can tweet by leaving a voice-mail to any of the following three numbers: +16504194196 or +390662207294 or +97316199855.
