Featured Gmail Lab: Undo Send

For the wonderful efforts of awesome Gmail labs that often go unnoticed, Googly News is featuring the most useful ones, such as...Undo Send. Ever sent an e-mail to the wrong person or forgot to add key information? Undo Send helps you avoid these and other situations by showing a link (right after clicking send) that lets you undo sending and brings you back to writing your e-mail. You can set the cancellation period for up to 30 seconds! So go get Undo Send from Gmail Labs right under Settings.

  1. Quite an interesting feature. Not sure I'd be able to realize I sent it to the wrong person within 30 seconds though...

  2. Agreed - still think this is an awesome feature though.. But does it cover the dreaded "reply all?"

  3. You can undo any e-mail sent, so that includes if you accidentally send it to the wrong person or hit "reply all."

30 seconds might not sound like a lot, but it is a long time when you are sending an e-mail. Personally, I usually realize after 2-3 seconds.

You should give it a try! You can always disable it afterwards if it doesn't work out. Good luck!
